After studying applied arts and embroidery in France and textile printing in Quebec, Célia developed a practice where pattern, color, and material play a central role. Turning to ceramics, she found a new field of expression to bring her designs to life through stencils, slips, and engraving. At the crossroads of textile and ceramics, her work draws inspiration from childhood, gardens, and folk imagery. Vases, single-flower vases, and tea objects thus become sensitive creations, where aesthetics meet function in a gentle narrative.
