Founded in 2005 by Edmond Salama, Matteomio reflects three generations of expertise. Born in Egypt in 1973, Edmond trained with master leather artisans from the age of 17, developing recognized expertise. His talent earned him several accolades, including the "Best Presentation and Best Quality Craftsmanship" award at Plein Art de Québec in 2004. He is also a member of the Quebec Arts and Crafts Council. Since the creation of Matteomio, Edmond has designed handbags and leather coats that combine elegance, quality, and authenticity. Made from the finest leathers, each creation is carefully crafted and designed to be unique.
