Elise Bourgault

Élise is a textile artist and weaver who revisits, among other things, the technique of passementerie. This universe is a major source of inspiration for her: a soft and flexible world that animates her and awakens colorful memories from her childhood. In 2018, after twenty years in education, she began training in arts and crafts, textile construction option, at the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec. During her studies, she developed a deep interest in weaving, a skill she has been perfecting ever since.
