Inspired by ancestral traditions and crafted with respect for artisanal know-how, this oval decorative ceramic dish is a unique creation by Quebec artist Jocelyne St-Denis, known as Maïka. Entirely handmade, it reflects her artistic approach deeply rooted in the relationship between humans, nature, and the elements. Each piece is shaped from clay using a distinctive technique developed by the artist: a process that is half-raku, half-primitive firing. This firing method allows fire, smoke, and material to create natural effects impossible to reproduce identically.
