Véronique Allaman completed her ceramic training at the Centre de céramique Bonsecours in 2023. Throughout her studies, she explored various clay bodies, glazes, and decorations. However, it was the raw beauty of clay that became the foundation of her research and creative process. She uses a clay-mixing technique called "nériage," combining porcelain with a rougher, warmer red earthenware. She particularly enjoys hand-building, as it allows pieces to be created more slowly and gently, with each possessing perfect imperfections. To emphasize this softness, only the interiors are glazed, allowing for full appreciation of the bare clay's touch.
